The ache that builds after eight hours at a desk, or flares when you lift the kids.

Usually 6 visits

Neck and shoulder

Laptop neck, and the shoulder that pinches when you reach for a top shelf or swim.

Usually 6–7 visits

Runner's knee

Pain on the stairs or past mile three, from kneecap trouble to a grumbling IT band.

Usually 7–8 visits

Sprains and strains

Rolled ankles on Forest Park trails, tight hamstrings and calf tears from the weekend.

How a plan runs

What happens across your 6–8 visits

  1. 1

    Visit 1 · a 60-minute assessment

We test strength, range and how you move, find the cause, and tell you the likely number of visits before you leave.

  2. 2

Visits 2–5 · treat, then load

Hands-on work to calm things down, then exercises that build week by week. About 15 minutes a day at home.

  3. 3

Visits 6–8 · back to normal

We retest against visit 1, rehearse your run or workday, and hand over a plan that keeps the pain from coming back.

Before your first visit

Questions patients ask us first

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. Oregon lets you see a physio directly. A few plans ask for a referral after a set number of visits, and we check that for you before you book.

How many visits will I need?

Most patients finish in 6 to 8. You'll hear our honest estimate at the end of your first assessment, and we retest as we go.

What should I wear?

Shorts for a knee or ankle, a tank top for a shoulder, and your running shoes if running hurts. We have changing rooms if you're coming from work.

Will my insurance cover it?

We bill most Oregon plans directly and confirm your copay and visit limit before visit 1, so there are no surprise bills.

What if I need to cancel?

Move or cancel up to 24 hours ahead online or by text, at no charge. Later than that, we charge a $40 late fee.
